Lance considers sunflowers a noxious weed that should be cut down. My mom considers them to be decorative and a nice treat for the birds. I tend to err on the side of my mother. My co-worker had these gorgeous sunflowers on her desk last week. I was more than a little jealous. She had a friend over for supper and as a thank you, the friend brought her sunflowers. Not that I expect my dinner guests to bring me flowers, but I wouldn't turn these down!
